PROYECTO SILUETAZO

PROYECTO “SILUETAZO” 2009

The social movement that developed in Argentina in 1980, called SILUETAZO, mobilized people to hang life-size silhouettes. It was a way to represent the presence of absence, that of thousands of detainees and disappeared during the military dictatorship.

The objective of the project is to give visibility to one of the social movements with the greatest impact in order to help prevent it from being forgotten.

The day of the inauguration the silhouette of the public was made and the result was hung between my works, as part of the exhibition project.
